Smoothie bowls are a great way to sneak in your daily intake of fruits and vegetables (even the ones you don’t like) in one meal without skimping on flavour.

Chocolate and bananas are a great combination and we blended a couple of tablespoons of cocoa powder with greek yogurt,  fresh bananas, desiccated coconut, cacao nibs, handful of almonds and oats. It took less than two minutes in the blender . We used simple toppings like granola and sliced bananas. You can really have fun with your add ins but be mindful as it’s easy to add heaps of calories if you don’t keep your serving size in mind.

Easy, satisfying and filling: a perfect way to start your mornings.


3 bananas, sliced (reserve 4-5 slices for the topping)

1 cup yogurt

4 Tbsp. cocoa powder

1 Tbsp. cacao nibs

1/3 cup chopped almond

1/3 cup desiccated coconut

1/2 cup rolled oats

1/4 cup Sustenance cranberry pistachio granola



Throw all the ingredients except the granola in the blender or food processor. Blend for two minutes

Pour it in a bowl, add granola, coconut and sliced bananas on top. Enjoy!
